Skala Mistegnon is a wonderful natural bight, full of olive trees, with a bright blue and clean sea. It is full of coffee shops, fish restaurants known all over the island and many bars and shops. The beach is ideal for everyone to swim or play games.

The location of Mistegna is ideal for those who want to drive around the north area of the island including Mantamados-Skala Sikaminias-Molivos-Petra-Anaxos and also around the area of Plomari-Kalloni-Eresos. Besides the small distance from the island’s capital city, Mytilene, gives you the opportunity to get to know the cultural heritage and the unique archaeological places.

While the island is big and you can not travel around it without any means of transportation. Buses go every half an hour directly from Mytilene, Thermi and Mantamados to Mistegna. You can also hire a car or a motorbike

For those who do not prefer traveling by any means of transport and want to relax and enjoy nature there are many paths and ways throughout the mountains which end to monasteries and wonderful landscapes with gorgeous view.
Moreover in not more than a kilometer distance you can find the Mistegna village. There you can find some traditional coffee shops and walk on the stone made roads which may remind you of your childhood.
